The pine forest is very near to La Ventola: this large green
strip along the sea shore is considered the most important
natural heritage of Etruscan Coast
thanks to the richness of its undergrowth. Via
dei Cavalleggeri used to run through the pine forest
that hides stories of soldiers, merchants and bandits. Benches,
tables, paths and jogging tracks make the forest a place where
to spend pleasant days and practice healthy sports activities.
Colours, perfume, open spaces…it
just takes a few minutes to reach the Tuscan
hills and Etruscan Coast Wine Road,
and then be embraced with intoxicating sensations, where foxes
narrate old secrets and the birds make us look up to the sky
and see them dive down towards the plain and, there. the sea,
the islands…a horizon.
